I'm now getting pretty hacked off by the idiot troll on the Citizen and Echo websites who detects rugby haters everywhere. I incurred his wrath by suggesting that eating competitions might not be a good idea - on an article about a rugby team taking part in an eating contest.
Richardburton incurred his wrath and 47 negatives for suggesting that reduced price rugby balls should be made available to children. What an outrageous suggestion!
No-one else is allowed to make any comment relating in any way to rugby - we're all trolls! Or, to be precise, we're all one supertroll using many different identities. His obsession with Rupert Harden is stunning. It must be rather embarrassing for Rupert, having such an obsessive fan.

Maybe you're all trolls? But when there is a gang of trolls working together that's bullying.

I got my Citizen account disable for getting involved with one of the rugby threads. ....Unfortunately I criticised the moderation; I think that was why I was banned. We had a cookie war later in the evening. I was liking GlosAnarchy's posts and the Rupert Harden obsessive was disliking. First it went up, then down..over and over(I was bored)....ended up at minus 61...I think he would have stayed up all night..

My sister advisable I'd personally possibly similar to this web page. This individual was absolutely suitable. This offered actually built my personal time. You simply can't look at simply how much time period I did spent with this details! Appreciate it!
Seems legit.

The Rupert Harden loving rugby troll is still at it. I've just discovered (and reported) six abusive comments aimed at me, and I haven't even mentioned rugby.

I reported at least a dozen of the troll's identities yesterday, all saying the same ridiculous rubbish over and over again; and yet today he is still using those same identities, so they can't even be bothered to ban the identies now, let alone the IP addresses that he uses.

You'll have to post a link to the troll's profile, Kay, and I'll tweet to @gloscitizen about it. Maybe open criticism will shame them into action.
At least you're still able to post, which quite surprises me when your history with TiG is quite similar to mine...

I don't know how to post a link, but if you type 'man v food' into the search box on the Citizen website, the third result (from February 8th) still contains ten abusive comments from the troll. I have tried reporting them as spam and as harassment, with no result. You may wonder what crime I was guilty of to attract the attention of the troll; it was my comment (which he had removed) that dared to say that eating competitions were wasteful. Since that time, an idiot in his fifties has chocked to death on three pickled eggs while taking part in an impromptu eating contest, so you can add 'deadly' to the list of reasons not to take part in eating contests.

Man V Food challenge for Widden Old Boys with a massive hot dogThis is quite staggering. I'm tempted to wonder if it's someone just trying to show up the site's moderation, as I'm trying to do with the council, but I'm doing that as one individual. I have reported literally hundreds of these ridiculous comments (and I know that other people have done likewise). While most of them do eventually disappear, some of them never do, and the troll does seem to have an endless number of identities and almost limitless time in which to post more of his astonishingly stupid and repetitive comments.

I've won my argument with the comments team about whether I'm allowed to criticise a local councillor. Now I'm trying, for the umpteenth time, to get the rugby troll's abusive and repetitive comments about me deleted.

For what it's worth, I just reported 'Brasher44' on the Man V Food thread...

Ah, that's interesting, because just one of the abusive comments has been deleted today. The other ones remain in situ; and the troll is still using one of those identities today to post more Rupert Harden-loving nonsense on Rugby-related articles.

'Brasher44' does seem to be the one that's missing. You might like to ask them why they're removing a comment at the behest of someone whose account they won't restore, yet leave those reported by someone whose account they will.
Or, just ask them to look at all the comments, and judge what they find acceptable...
