After his latest faux-pas and being stripped of his Road Safety award, is it time to replace Mayor Adam West (i.e. Richard Graham) as our Member of Parliament?
I seriously cannot recall anything positive the silver-haired loony has done for the city. Okay, Dhandy may have been as useful as a chocolate tampon but at least under him we had the start of the redevelopment of the Docks and he was supportive of sports and the arts in Gloucester.
I'm not a Labour voter (I voted Independent at the General Election) by the way, but honestly cannot find one good point about Richard Graham - his replies to emails are all sht sntnces abt G'ster... as if he cannot type characters longer than four places.
The trouble is who could replace him? Sophy Gardner is quite a strong candidate but as Labour has been sullied and seems a rudderless party would people want Labour back in office?
Richard Ford of UKIP got third place in the General Election, but with only 7,497 votes (compared with 23,827 for Richard Graham). The rest (Liberals, Greens, Monster Raving Loonies and TUSC) were all way behind.
Is it a case of he is the best we've got? If so, we really have scratched the bottom of the (B&M Bargains) bin!

Check out Gloucester's Wikipedia entry, and you'll see that dirty politics is a historical thing. A history our current leaders seem keen to emulate.
Just as Dickie seems keen to emulate Mr Toad on the road between here and Cirencester (poop-poop!).
