Barton & Tredworth Developments Ltd. isn't a charity, is it? How do you know that the trustees are now working for or with BTD? There's no information on their website.

No, I don't think it is a charity, but their website, if it was the same one, used to hold a lot more information about the board.
It's probably a complete waste of time asking about the board, but it looks like almost all the 'former' trustees have transferred to BTD, so they should be able to answer questions about the only partially released survey and other things. Whether they will is immaterial. I can ask anyway...

Carol Francis was straight in there for a photo opportunity a couple of days ago, wasn't she? She didn't look to be on the verge of death!

Joe, I don't know if you read the paper version of The Citizen every day, but here is an extract that should make your blood boil: "Carol Francis "In an article in The Citizen on April 17, 2013 headlined 'Plea for recruits to save group', we incorrectly referred to Carol Francis as the chairman of the Barton and Tredworth Community Trust. "In fact Mrs Francis had resigned from the trust in November. "In the article, we also incorrectly attributed a quote to Mrs Francis, which read: "We need to keep the trust going, or lose more say in where the authorities spend money in our area, so please give this some thought." "We apologise to Mrs Francis for the error and are happy to clarify the matter." What the fuck??? So who sent out the letter on 15th April? And who is in control of the trust now? And what about that bit in the letter about leaving the organisation with insufficient managerial structure would leave the trustees open to a charge of negligence? I've just checked the Charity Commission website, and they still seem to think that Carol Francis is the head of the trustees for the BTCT. It's only on a second reading that I've twigged... the Citizen must have copied their information from either here or the Tredworth Facebook page, where I re-posted it, because it's my 'We need to keep the trust going...' they've misattributed. Hopefully, they're paying as much attention about the riding arena, although perhaps too late for Monday morning...

So it turns out that Barton & Tredworth Development have only just twigged, after I brought it up, that the BTCT doesn't exist anymore. Mind I have been 'bringing it up' pretty much all year, and in all that time Bren McInerney, fromer trust secretary and regular visitor (employee?) at BTD, didn't think to enlighten them. This stinks to high hell.
They're going to look into it and get back to me about it, presumably after I remind them in my next email. I've been using 'community@btd.co.uk', but should have been using 'info@btd.co.uk', so that's sent off now...
