Most of the posts in this site are comments on comments by others, not on the substantive issues covered in the news reports. Often the posts are repetitious or nit-picking between a limited number of people, responses predicable.
There are also instances where local councillors or political groups have hi-jacked particular discussions - registered specially with pseudonyms to ping pong justification of their positions regardless of the merits of the case presented.
The real question is whether readers of TIG site are helping to advance discussion topics meaningfully or simply stuck in their grooves, venting their frustrations repeatedly at anyone not agreeing with them.”

My response, 'You make a persuasive argument, Fry...', was brief because I suspect I have been banned again (or, as they call it, 'Internal Server Error'), following the gentle menstruations of 'Ablokehere', from the Gloucestershire Boards or surrounding environs. Vendettas do tend to get in the way of discussion.
