Since I last posted, there have been tales of monster foxes all over Gloucester. Apparently a gigantic one has been killing chickens in Tredworth; sort out your henhouse - a fox shouldn't be able to get at chickens. Another monster fox has been killing cats in Abbeydale; I'm not sure how that one can be sorted out, other than by my terrier who would be delighted to assist, but might kill a few cats while he's about it.
Frank Tunbridge is still promoting his theories about big cats in Gloucestershire. He also now accepts that the roundabout bunnies are not in danger of extinction; apparently, he has seen a couple there recently.

Yet another big cat hoax has been perpetrated against the media. "Herbert and Doreen Smith", supposedly pensioners, of Winsley, Wiltshire, claimed that they had taken a photo of a black panther in a field near Murhill Woods, Trowbridge on 10th August 2013. It has now emerged that the photo is a still from a video taken in Lapeer County, Michigan on 3rd September 2007. The Citizen admits that the photo was "probably" taken in the USA. Probably?! It's on an American website, and has been for years.

Last week, it was Frank Tunbridge's ancient socks, this week, it's another big black cat sighting. This one was in Rodborough in broad daylight. I'm waiting for a child to be eaten before I believe in it.

Times must be a bit quiet at the moment - it's not as if we're just coming up to Christmas or anything like that - so the Citizen and Echo are getting their knickers in a twist about the huge black panther supposedly seen repeatedly in Swindon Village. Funnily enough, no-one has reported having any pet or livestock animal eaten by the beast.

...and yet another big cat is now stalking Staverton - or perhaps it's the same one from Swindon Village.
