I'm mainly posting this thread because it assures me easy access to the email sent to me about this. I can't open old emails so easily because it blitzes my 'New' folder.
I'm not accepting the claim that the council can't investigate further. I'll take it up with the Ombudsman if I have to,though he (or she) has never been much use either. In fact, cynical as it may appear, I can't think of one figure in authority, in Gloucester at least, that I would trust to look into this for me. Still going to push on, though.

Firstly please accept our apologies that your emails have not been getting through to officers in the City Council. Following our investigation I am shocked to discover that a block was put on your email account by a member of staff working in IT. This block was never authorised by senior management at Gloucester City Council and nobody was aware that this had happened. This is not standard practice within the authority.
The person who actioned the block on your email account no longer works here, I am therefore unable to investigate further the reasons behind the block.
We would advise that the block has been removed with immediate effect. Our IT service confirm that 48 emails have now been released through our email system so we can now process these and get the necessary responses/actions to you as soon as possible.
I can only apologise that we have repeatedly advised that we were not blocking your account but myself, my team and colleagues were totally unaware that this had been done.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you feel I can be of further assistance.

It is my opinion that you might have a right under the Data Protection Act to know the identity of the employee who deliberately and unlawfully blocked your emails. You should certainly give it a try.

Martin Shields is refusing to divulge that information, or any details of the emails that I must assume led to the action. This is their 'Unreasonable Behaviour policy', (and note that I was never informed about the email block, or warned beforehand): |

Bear in mind also that I was told in no uncertain terms that the council did not block emails, and Martin Shields has made no effort to reconcile this statement with the facts now revealed. Yet he believes I have suffered no detriment, and more importantly, that the council and Civica have done nothing, through their actions or inactions, which requires a penalty to be imposed. I believe they have, and that the £200 offered is insufficient. I don't expect the £1,000 I plucked as a sum out of the air, to make the point that answers were required, but £500 is the least amount tolerable as a genuine sign of contrition.

Telling lies is not 'unreasonable behaviour' by the council. Only members of the public are unreasonable.

Another email from Martin Shields yesterday afternoon, following my new FoI request about the council and Civica. He's still pushing the line that he doesn't need to answer any more questions, and that if I still feel 'aggrieved', I should go to the Ombudsman. I'm still saying that if he tries to keep follow-up questions about Civica separate from the original 'complaint', the Ombudsman will probably, from past performance of such agencies (PCC, IPPC, Charity Commission) say that until the city council address those questions, or point-blank refuse to, s/he can't... Council/Civica policy on blocking residents' emails |

The police brandwood@west-midlands.pnn.police.uk didn't seem too bothered by the abuse, threats, insults, doxing, hacking that I recieved as a part of OpHuntDasein. Just not bothered, but the FBI were. That's fuckin' strange. My councilllor blocked my emails, my MP blocked my emails, Ms Creasy MP blocked my emails. It's a good job I made copies of everything before my account was 'suspended' otherwise... Well who can say, it would be my word against the cops, Labour, drug users, Joe, psycopaths, etc Who would believe me? |

Joe is definitely not the same person as dasein/Gary. I was beginning to suspect that Bartonite was the same person as Gary, but now I'm wondering again... (..and I think to myself, what a wonderful world.) Oh, and I'm not really God...  |

Whoever it is behind the name, Bartonite on the Gloucestershire Boards seems to be very good at mimicking Joe. In fact, he (or she?) is so good that I'm surprised that the Bartonite account wasn't banned immediately by Eddie.
