Now, given that my account was recently (that is, Wenesday evening) disabled over I know not what, and I can't therefore provide 'the voice of reason' to the present discussion, it's far from perfick to comment on this here, but I thought Takeaway22's 'trap' was a bit misleading. The comment has been deleted, but from my recollection, he/she posted a comment about there being no comments except from 2GL00946 since 10:57 in the morning. Nothing abusive about that. What was abusive was the following crack about someone talking to themselves.
So, a 'comment purely on this article' doesn't quite describe it, and it's not surprising that it was deleted, really. Bait and switch, in fact.
And you know the whole 'thread' is going to be deleted before Monday, so isn't all this rancour just wasted effort anyway..? TiG are just making commenters dance to their tune or they would deal with the moderation issue once and for all.
