I'm reliably informed that the names on that sheet of paper included The Easter Bunny, Bobby Davro and Lord Lucan. And the fact that they have never been selected, let alone elected to be Tory MPs just makes it worse...

This week's Private Eye has a go at Schofield as well. Quite right too - I don't watch the programme, but it was idiotic to do what he did. Of course, Schofield is only the presenter, and it's the programme director who should really get a serious kicking.

Well, Lord McAlpine is getting £185K plus expenses from the BBC, but he's saying that he wants more from ITV for Schofield's stunt.
