Having suffered myself from the unwillingness of the councils, especially the county council, to respond to complaints, which themselves only became necessary because of unwillingness to respond to polite requests for information, I can appreciate how frustrating this stonewalling can be. There is a corner besides the Asda carpark in Gloucester which could soon see an accident, perhaps a fatal one, because Chris Townley is allowed to sit on his backside instead of dealing with a problem recognised by council employees.
Members, and guests, feel free to outline what requests for information, or action, the council/s are ignoring, in as much or as little detail as you feel is sufficient, or advisable...

Glos Chief Exec Pete Bungard apologised to me for failings by the council to follow policies on complaints process and initial assessments where he had no choice as they were caught out bang to rights trying to do a stitchjob and we can all use calandars. However he has failed to apologise for lies about domestic violence, sexual abuse, and breaches of the DPA 1998 which have caused me mental anguish. I have been branded vexatious for seeking the truth and in return Bungard stopped the county councillors engaging with me to try to silence me. However I am more determined than ever to get the matter into the public domain to prevent anyone else going through the experience.
I have internal documents showing lies and cover ups yet Bungard denies there ever was any deceit - suggest he looks up the definition. His trusted man Tim Browne continues to be a habitual liar stopping complaints against individual staff being investigated to cover his own backside.
Lots of lovely emails to come out and yes the county councillors knew about the lies for 4 years but did nothing to help me - quite pleased that some retired but sickened that others got re-elected to abuse the peopes trust again.

Have you had dealings with Tim Browne from Gloucestershire County Council in the course of a complaints process. If yes how did you get on?
Have you been branded vexatious by Gloucestershire County Council - if so by whom?

Welcome to the site, Geoff. Just checked it before hitting the sheets so I won't elaborate in detail, but I think I'm in the same boat re furtive allegations of vexatiousness. If you feel like visiting Shire Hall in the near future, I may come along to to cover your back, and reduce the chances of being served like Michael Doherty...
